Monday is always a MonDATE with my sissy. This time, we visited Mae-san ! I always passed this super kawaii store on my way home but I've never really tried their food.

Located at Fugoso St. Sta. Cruz, Manila.

I just love how girly the outside looks!

You'll be greeted いらしゃいませ !(Welcome!) upon entering. oh the japanese vibeeeee ~

This store is a combination of bakery and a small dining place. Aside from the cakes and pastries that they sell, they offer various kinds of rice meals too and they don't just stick to the usual japanese cuisine, they also offer some korean, thai and western dishes. Oh and milkteas ! Super convenient.

Tour 2015

I'm doing myself a favor by making this draft right now hahaha ! I've been so busy this month because you know ehem school stuffs but I really feel the need to publish this before February ends.

Last February 19, we had an educational tour! It might be the last tour that we'll experience so everyone from my class participated.

Since we've learned our lesson last tour we decided not to sleep anymore. It's better than being late again and get separated from the rest. We arrived at the meeting place way too early, it was around 4:30 in the morning as far as I can remember.

Look how dark it was. We're the first ones to arrive. Excited much ? We got into our bus after meeting some of our classmates.

Valentine's Day + Studio Photos

Admit that no matter how bitter you are about Valentine's Day or no matter how you promised yourself to be single, you still feel a bit sad every time that Day comes.

Lol. It's not just my day.

Everyone's going on about how they're dying to receive flowers, bears and chocolates and here we are stuffing ourselves with donuts!

I spend the Couple's Day with a very cute and single friend of mine, Ghielina aka Bebi Girl. To put it simply, she's my Valentine's date hahaha !

Since we had a night class, we decided to have a study session at Dunkin' Donuts. Memorizing all those Sections really made my head hurts.

Studying=Pigging out is what I really mean.

What I Learned on My OJT

I have made a post before about my first few weeks at the office and I promised myself to make another one once I finished conducting it.

So without further delay, let's get started.

*insert dramatic piano piece*

"I can't remember how many phone calls I had answered but I can remember stuttering on my very first phone call. I can't remember how many tenants I had talked to but I can remember being so nervous around them. I can't remember how many memos and letters I had photocopied but I can remember making mistakes using the xerox machine. I can't remember how many ID's I had released but I can remember being so confused about how it should be released. I can't remember how many gatepass and work permits I had logged but I can remember panicking when I made mistakes on the monitoring sheets".

Conducting my on-the-job training at the Administration Office made a huge impact in my life. I can proudly say that I was able to overcome my fears of talking to a stranger. In my work place, my table serves as the “front desk” of our office so everyone who drops by will see me first before my bosses and being the first person they see, I learned to accommodate them and make sure they have their inquiries answered properly.

I'm happy because I'm finally done with my training but somehow sad because I will be leaving the office and leaving means I won't get to see them more often. It's where I had lot of happy memories and I know for sure that I will be missing the people that became part of my life in a short period of time. I’m still thankful that for once in my life; I was able to meet some of the coolest person on earth who taught me so many different things that I know I can use in my future career. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have the guts to challenge my own abilities and skills to become braver and bolder.

In my three months stay, I learned a lot of things not only those who are related to my field but also the kind of things you can apply in my life. As I was working as a trainee, I learned to become strong, brave and tough because it’s necessary in order to last and do my job properly. I’m not going to sugar-coat this but no matter how hard you work, there will always be some people who will look down on you. I have experienced some hardships and it ended in a fruitful lesson that I’ll always keep in my mind. In that sense, I learned to become a hard working person because I want to prove myself to them; it inspired me to do my best in everything that I do.

Chapter 1 of 2015

Notice the title change? Yes ! Instead of "How My *insert month* Went" I'll be using "Chapter *no. of the month* of 2015". For those who are new to my blog, this is the whole summary of the things I did, or the places I went, or any random moments and events that I've been through the whole month. I enjoy doing these entries the most.

So how did my first month of the year went ?

The realization of going back to school after Holidays isn't the most exciting thing. You have spent everyday of the vacation sleeping and staying up late so going back to the old routine and waking up for school is not easy. THE STRUGGLE IS REAL. Student life is so complicated but I know I'll definitely miss this once I start working. Anywaysss...

I tried the recipe that I found on 9gag. It's called "Egg in a Whole". It's where you make a whole in a slice of bread then cook the egg in it.

I paired it with Biscocho, pasalubong from my Tita. Doesn't look appealing but trust me it's delicious. Hihihi !

Then at midnight, me and my cousin had our snack.

It wasn't called "Convenient Store" for nothing. Let's Bee addiction.

I also tried cooking Omurice. It was such an epic fail but not bad for a first time!
