April 2026 Blog

Hi kids, future father of my kids, or whoever tf you are.

Welcome, welcome!

How's summer? Sobrang init! I feel like my skin is melting. T^T

My April was spent in Bohol and Cebu. I'm just going to briefly summarize each because I plan on doing separate blogs for each week, detailed ones, because there are just too many things I want to say. Stories in between and, of course, good food!

On the first week of April, I went to Mina’s hometown in Guindulman. It’s about a two-hour drive from Panglao. We spent the week catching up on life and work, stocking up on produce, and doing a grocery run.

One thing I love about the province is the clean air!!! I just know my lungs are thanking me for it.

Look at me cooking!!!!!! yes biatch im lowk domestic lol (i just try)

But since we were still feeling a bit bitin from our Panglao escapade, we decided to head back the following weekend and stayed at Regents Park Resort.

We tried a few cafés and bars, and of course, dipped in the water too!

By the third week, Mina’s friends (who’ve become my friends too) and I went to Anda to visit another beach called Anda de Boracay. I honestly couldn’t believe a place this beautiful is open to the public sobrang ganda! We didn’t really swim, we just ate there and watched the sunset.

We also went to Solea in Anda.

Loid also showed me a good running spot in Guindulman!

On normal days, Mina and I would just go about our usual routines. We’d work at night, and after my shift, I’d cook lunch for us. And whenever I was feeling clingy, I’d just barge into Mina’s room and work there instead.(i swear that girl doesn't show affection at all so it's always me forcing my love!!)

On the fourth weekend, Christine (another friend of Mina’s) joined us for a canyoneering trip in Badian, Cebu. It was the last stop of my one-month trip! The journey from Guindulman to Badian was absolute HELL!  It took us 11 hours, and at one point we got lost on a highway with no signal while the sun was already setting. SCARYYY

Long story short, we eventually found the hotel we’d be staying at and headed to Kawasan Falls the next day for the canyoneering activity. Canyoneering was fun if you're the adventurous type (not me, i was just there for the vibes lol) but in all seriousness, I still enjoyed it because I was able to overcome my fears!

I extended my stay in Cebu City after canyoneering, but this time just by myself! I skipped some of the tourist attractions because I wanted it to be chill and slow.

I'm REAAALLY trying to keep this blog short and sweet and leave some for the upcoming blogs!

Some camera roll snaps

- hotel selfie!

- love that fast food chains are starting to add kcal info

- my pre-run breakfast

- found this note in restaurant in Panglao (sanaol)

- first time trying Chorizo de Cebu (i hope i get that right)

- waiting for the bus to arrive

Onto my Netflix Department

With all the ganaps I had for April, the only thing I've watched was this documentary called

"Trust Me: The False Prophet" - it's so creepy and scary how this cult shit is still happening in this day and age.

This film became my go-to during quick lunch breaks from work, and lowkey made me sad because I only finished it after getting back here in Manila. It made me miss those quiet midnight moments while eating alone in their huge ass kitchen.

I also started watching Love Life, a slice-of-life romcom starring Anna Kendrick. I’ve put it on pause for now lol, but I actually like the story because Anna’s character feels a bit similar to me (?) idk

Top Songs From This Month

1.) Who Knows - Daniel Caesar (as much as I hate to admit, I'm a lover girl and I fw this kind of song)

2.) Last Night on Earth - Green Day (I really like the melody and the lyrics of this song, also can i just say I cried while it was on an hour loop???dude i was legit saaaad)

3.) Drop Dead - Olivia Rodrigo (Olivia casually dropping a banger on a random Tuesday)

4.) Kabisado - IV of Spades (gotta throw in some OPM, but this one is actually good! I yearn for this kind of love. Lord, baka naman!)

5.) Madwoman - Laufey ("but still I want u like a mad, madwoman".. yes Laufey.. same)

April gave me so many memories and experiences that I will surely look back on.

Met new friends and people (still don't think any of them could be your dad but who knows?)

Bohol holds a special place in my heart, I will surely go back. :)

Aside from being sentimental and shit from all the traveling, another thing I just have to say is that,

I'M SOOOO EXHAUSTED. Kapoy talagaaa!

My age is catching up to me!!!!!

Kids, can you tell your dad to hurry tf? He's probably out there flirting with his gf promising forever, or stuck in a miserable situationship, or he probably also joined a cult or is dead. (damn i hope not)

Anyway, that's all for our April recap.

See you on my next blog!

xoxo
