Before I mumble senseless stuff, I'm currently listening to this playlist while typing everythaaaang and I must say, never have I ever craved for a slow dance in the kitchen at midnight this much!

I have to say, Kudos to myself coz I've finally cleared all my backlogs. Thank you for standing by, we are all back to the usual program schedule.

Without further ado, here's my November blog diary.

Had a staycation with the bestieeee

Went to Alabang to meet her and we had lunch at Silantro. She was soo excited for me to try their Nachos and it really was good!!! The Quesadilla was uh-mazing as well, it had lots of cheese and even had fries on it.

When we arrived at the hotel, she gave me advanced birthday gifts. Yes, plural coz it's a lot! I got a wallet, a twinning phone case, a cute af top, heck I even got an Era's Tour and Speak Now bracelets huhuhuhu!!

Thank you, bestieeee!!! I'm always spoiled!

We played some games on Nintendo Switch then headed back to ATC for our dinner. Ate at a Japanese Restaurant. Pababoy na naman whahahahaha

Back at the hotel, we drank a Pink Moscato. Played some more Nintendo

More catching up and a lot of shoppee links were shared that night.

The girlies that get it, get it. Gatekeeping is for the weak!!

November is also my Mom's Death Anniversary, so I paid her a visit. We had brunch together. Sat there for a good hour just talking and making sure she knows the latest chika about me. Moreover, my dilemma and the ones that keep me up at night. It was such a warm feeling telling her everything.

On the second week, my family went to Pangasinan to attend my newest pamangkin's first birthday!

It was also nice seeing my Tito and Tita whom we haven't seen in so long. Happy First Birthday, Caleb!!! lablab ka ni Tita Ninang!

And since Baguio, is just a 2 hr ride away from Pangasinan, I decided to visit! My cousins will follow the next day so I basically got a 24 hr alone time in the City of Pines, which has been on my bucket list for the longest time. 24 hour is not enough but that will do, for now.

I'll make a separate blog about this trip but here are some snaps.

The rest of the month was a blur coz Baguio was the highlight. LOL

but hey I got myself a new prescription glasses.

(some more photos from my camera roll!)

Ohhh we also took my nephew to his first trip to Kidzoona!!! the potato was so scared. Probably because of the crowd. Nevertheless, his Tita enjoyed going up and down the slide, so we got our money's worth hehe

And another thing, the very reason I've been putting off this blog was mainly because of "The Big Bang Theory", I've finished the show but I'm watching reruns. I GOT SO MUCH STUFF TO SAY but I'll keep it all on my December blog na lang! IT WAS HELLA GOOD!

Onto my Netflix department

A friend of mine has been convincing me to watch "A Silent Voice", she won't stop bugging me about it on Discord so I gave it a try. Yes Yoyo, I'm talking to you! SHE WAS RIGHT though. It's a good movie that tackles serious issues. It's not rare, Japan always delivers! When you think about Anime, the first thing you'd think of are probably, "super powers", "fiction", or worst "just for the weirdos", but you can never really say unless you give it a try. How can you judge something if you're clueless, right?

"Attack on Titan", the final episode and season were released too. It's a bittersweet goodbye since I watched the first episode 10 years ago. In that decade run, I was not always the super fan girl. In fact, I almost had forgotten about it until I got stuck during the pandemic in my office room where I lived and got bored. There were tons of seasons to catch up on. I remember crying in some parts but never have I cried hard on the last episode. I WAS BAWLING MY EYES OUT. I finished the manga at the time of its release but seeing it animated and dubbed is on another level. I watched it a couple more times over just to cry lol and yes despite it being fiction, it has its own way of tugging your heartstrings,

(SPOILER ALERT DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU)

I'm hurt because Mikasa and Eren never had the happy ending that they truly deserve. And you know that scene where Armin and Eren were in the "path" and Eren became this selfish, cheeky boy who wanted Mikasa all by himself!???GHORLLL. Also, the part where Armin saw Eren's head being carried by Mikasa? He screamed like hell! And lastly, the part where Mikasa was sitting by Eren's grave and crying because she missed him.  ANG SAKIT SAKIT!!!!! It was all animated so beautifully. And I slept like a baby knowing that Eren did loved Mikasa, and she wasn't being a delulu all this time.

Saying goodbye to my all-time fave anime is difficult. You basically grew up with it Went through life with it. And I probably sound like a nerd to your right now, but I honestly don't think any anime can top that. "Attack on Titan", will always be a part of me. ALL HAIL ISAYAMA!

I have admittedly been MIA for the past few months, just living life and making sure I see a new day lol

So here we are, still catching up on backlogs.

Wore a wig on our Halloween Special at work!

coz what better excuse do I need to buy something useless? Halloween DUH

I dressed as a vampire, I even got myself some fake glued-on fangs.

Here are some "overly-enhanced, heavily edited" pictures to fool people I look like a doll when in fact I look like yo mama.

MAMA MO

Just a few days later, I became a wreck, emotionally and mentally drained because my nephew was diagnosed with Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease and was at the hospital for over a week. It was a nightmare seeing him so uncomfortable and sick and you couldn't do anything about it. I've never felt so helpless but thank God he got better and made a full recovery. Soon enough he is back on being pasaway! I love you, my little munchkin!!!!!

So now that baby has recovered, his Tita can now have her well-deserved gala LOL

and to Tagaytay, I went!

I was with my newly resigned-bagong tambay cousin HAHAHA!

Us girls also had a sleepover sipping Sparkling wine while watching movies on Netflix. The nest day, we had lunch at Marugame and had our eyebrows threaded.

My dad's birthday also falls in October, so we had a mini celebration at home and we gave him a new phone since it's his 60th birthday!! Officially a senior citizen!!!! Happy Birthday, Pido!!

On the last week of October, my nephew went on his first Trick or Treat!!!! He got so many candies ofc his tita got her share!!!! Yall can talk shit but that baby can't eat everything in that halloween basket! I'm basically saving him from future diabetes and tooth problems. hehe

Random camera roll snaps

And just for the heck of it, my friends and I all made a Discord account to watch random shit together. I'm telling you we watch Tulfo, Rotten Mango, Bailey Sarian, and even a 2-4 hour Senate Hearings!! It was soo much fun and I feel like we're closer than ever now.

and yall remember the yearbook trend that went viral? Yeah, I paid for that too LOL I'll never have those kinds of bodies nor be that pretty so thank you AI for making me believe that I still have a "glow-up" left in me. I lost hope a long time ago.

Ohhh and another thing!

I went back to self-studying Nihongo. I had to. I got rusty, in fact, I barely remember everything I had studied before. It really is challenging trying to learn something but can't practice it much. No one in the house is interested. Turuan ko na lang tatay ko para may kausap ako potaaa HAHAHAHA

On my Netflix Department

I watched "Nowhere", and boy I'm telling you, it gave me sooo much anxiety! A must-watch!

I also went back to watching Jujutsu Kaisen, and for a while, I got hooked on continuing the manga but then my short attention span couldn't handle it.

And since we're talking about anime, I finished "My Happy Marriage", I couldn't remember the last time I streamed a shoujo genre but it was soo good. Nakakakilig huhuhuuh!!! "Horimiya" and "Spy x Family" are also on the list

Aside from those 3, I got "Big Bang Theory" running when I get bored. It's a bit nerdy for me especially when Sheldon spits out scientific facts but it grew on me over time. I like it so far and hopefully finish it by Season 12.

Your girl got quite busy, I would say.

Whaddupppp

Sooo last September, my friends and I were supposed to go to the Circus Music Festival. However, due to strong winds and heavy nonstop rain, they had to reschedule it for next year.

We already booked an Airbnb near the location, a bummer but rather than canceling the reservation why not go and enjoy, right?

The interior of the room is a chef's kiss. Looks so elegant!

There's one bed and one sofa bed for us to sleep in, a kitchenette and their Netflix account is working so good find na to.

My view is 51 floors up! nakakalulaaa

The fact that people can really live all the way up here amazes me, ang dami kong tanong like pano kapag sira lahat ng elevator? lilipad ka paakyat? LOL

Once everyone arrived, we drove to Glorietta to have dinner.

And tonight's selection was Japanese Cuisine.

We didn't stay that long since we still had some agenda for the night.

Back to our unit!

I think we've all reached a point where you just prefer to chill and really rest on staycations. Take it easy and do not do anything strenuous. We took a nap and woke up at midnight, coz we were supposed to have some booze hehe

yall never be too chill to not drink alcohol

So once everyone woke up, we started prepping. Jobs, and I cooked chickiiiiin then we had soju.

After a couple of rounds, Jobs and Ruth decided to call it a night while Bill and I, stayed and even ordered a pizza.

Came next morning, the view of the city was soo beautiful lakas maka "A Day in My Life as a Solo Living Woman" ganoirnnn

We had breakfast, then played some ukulele!

Nag tiktok pa kame homaygahd Graysya in her Tiktokerizxt era!

Ayun lang,

tapos na

Welcome! If you're here to snoop into my life, you've come to the right place. I say so much shit here like I owe the world an explanation for everything I do. Here, I document my life, little wins, disappointments, and failures, and if the movie and book "A Series of Unfortunate Events" were a person, that would be me.

So Hi.

I hope you will enjoy your stay. I'm a couple of months late but who reads this anyway, right????

As you all know, September is also the beginning of every Pinoy's Christmas LOL. I could hear my dad already blasting Christmas carols off his phone. Takes me back to that time when we still reside in Manila and Mom is still alive. We'll have every Christmas decors out. My brother and I usually decorate the Christmas Tree, while my mom and dad put up the grass in the corner of the ceiling with ornaments and lights. Christmas used to be my favorite holiday. But it gets sadder, duller, and boring as the years go by. Maybe it's because I'm getting older too. Priorities have changed and life moves so swiftly.

Going back to the September blog. In the first week, we threw Stevie a birthday surprise at Tuan-Tuan. His girlfriend, Gail had asked us this favor a few weeks before little did she know she'd be engaged to him the very next day lol Congratulations to this newly engaged couple!!!

On the 3rd week, I dragged another friend, Mina to come with me while I had my laptop fixed lol in return, we had dinner with a little pampering on the side. We took videos, photos and had soo much fun!

My friends and I were supposed to watch the Circus Music Festival on the 30th but was later rescheduled due to non-stop rain. The funny thing was, we already booked an Airbnb near the location to save ourselves some time on traveling. So despite the concert being canceled, we still all agreed to proceed with the booking. Sayaaaang yun! We won't be able to refund it na. Full Blog will be posted soon. (kapag sinipag hehe)

On another note, I was rushed to the ER at 2 a.m. due to some difficulty in breathing, I also felt my arms up to my jaws going numb. The doctors ruled it out as Acid Reflux. But I was goddamn scared, I thought that would be the end for me. I was staying over at my friends in Manila when that happened so I was away from my family. Had to call them one by one to let them know if something were to happen, at least alam nila, literal nag bibilin na ako! Since then, my life has changed.

I have never been hospitalized since I was a kid. Aside from the annual APEs my companies required us to undergo, my health was doing good. Nothing to be worried about, until that day. I quit vaping and the nicotine withdrawal was sooo bad. Subconsciously put my focus on food instead. I did gain some weight to cope. If I'm not eating I'd feel the strong urge to vape and that went on for a couple of weeks. As of writing, the nicotine addiction has definitely gone. It's the additional weight gain that I'm struggling to get rid of now. Grabe life! Why u gotta be so hard??? So that is my current agenda, to get my body back on track. Sana lang magawa ko lol I was in my thinnest last year!!

But heyy the bottom line is I made it, I'm still alive.

Now onto my Netflix department,

I've been really into series recently. I've watched "Dead to Me", and "Santa Clarita Diet" which both got canceled for some reason. Total bummer! coz I enjoyed those shows.

Another series that I enjoyed was "Peaky Blinders" which wasn't typically my type of genre coz they're all about Mafia, guns, actions, and bloody British/Irish accents, more actions. But this girl stayed despite her being clueless 70% of the time. Tommy made me stay hehe. He was such a badass. I just love how Cillian portrayed him, they cast the perfect actor for the role.

I wasn't expecting to see Marshall Eriksen and Mike Hannigan together in a film but they starred in the movie, "I Love You, Man", it was okay, I just can't look at them without seeing the characters they portrayed in their sitcoms LOL

Top Songs for this Month

1.) Glue Song - Beabadoobee

2.) Norman Fucking Rockwell - Lana Del Rey

3.) Shake it Out - Florence + The Machine

4.) The Pool - Stephen Sanchez

5.) Wave to Earth - Bad

That is pretty much it. Oh, and I'll be publishing the backlogs one by one so stay tuned.

This is perhaps the most spontaneous thing I've ever done in my whole life.

August 12th, I was supposed to stay home that Saturday, but I got to talking with my friend, Jobelle and we ended up meeting for a brunch at Kapitolyo. I remember that the Tattoo Studio where I had my first two was just around the area so I asked her if she would like to get some tattoos which she was totally down for lol

I sent PintaDon Tattoo Studio a message that same morning, knowing they're always booked on weekends, I didn't set my hopes up for a slot. I was mainly trying my luck. I sent them the designs that I had on my old phone. Buti dala ko! and they happened to have an ongoing promo for their Anniversary. MEANT TO BE!!! On top of the free minimalist tattoo, we will also get a 10% discount for bringing a friend. Initially, they told us that they might have to book us for separate time slots since they were fully booked that day. We said it was fine if one of us had to wait. We were just soo hyped to get inked.

We stayed at her condo's penthouse to kill some time while playing Ukulele. Then headed to the Studio at 1pm.

Upon entering the Studio, there were indeed a lot of people. The staff assisted us with our reservation, while the other one printed out our designs for sizing preferences. It wasn't too long til Jobelle got called to the "operating room" LOL

I wasn't really sure about the placement until the very last minute. Such little time to think about a permanent decision pero ginusto ko to dibaaa?? so I just went with my left ankle and arm. I've heard that the ankle spot can be painful but I couldn't care less at this point. If I'm getting hurt at least it's something I want lolol

Quick restroom selfie while waiting for my turn.

Don, was my artist that day. When he saw my other tattoos he asked me where I got them and I confidently said, "Here, last year". Told him, Neil was my artist before who coincidentally was in charge of Jobelle.

Everyone there was just so cool and most of the customers were women!!!! I repeat WOMEN! Isn't it nice seeing women taking over something that was traditionally for men's art expression? I barely saw a male customer.

He laid me down on the chair and started with my left arm. I was wearing shorts and they were nice enough to hand me a blanket for my legs +100!!!

I didn't anticipate how painful it would be, it was an 8/10. I was shaking for the first few minutes because of the pain lol It got tolerable though and it was a tiny one so I'll live.

Then we moved to my left ankle. I was silently praying it wouldn't be as painful as the first. Well, it was, lol in fact a little more like an 8.5/10. You would certainly feel the needle piercing through your skin and bone.

I got two Angel tattoos because of my mom and brother. As all of you know, they're both in Heaven and this is my way of remembering them. "Angel'" is also part of my middle name.

The whole session lasted for about 40 minutes. After that, Jobelle and I sat down to make some chika then we were asked to have our photos taken along with the artists!

Nice to see you again, Neil!

And Jobelle got these.

Since I'm a returning customer, they gave me a loyalty card na nakaka pressure kase gusto ko yun makumpleto!!! Who knows I might get a 5th one before the year ends. Also, they issued me a new Referral card so if any of you want to get inked, DM me!!

My dad who absolutely had zero idea I was getting tattoos went mad lol but when I told him the reason behind it, he calmed down. A LITTLE. He was still furious and like every parent would say, "binababoy mo lang katawan mo". Well, he said as long as it's not a huge one. WAHAHAHAHAHA OKAY

I really do recommend PintaDon Tattoo Studio!! The fact that they squeezed us in despite the late notice was remarkable. The whole experience was surreal and I enjoyed every bit of it. Will I get a spontaneous tattoo again? HELL YES!
