February 2025 Blog Diary

Hi kids, and countrymen,

 Okaaay so I'm drafting this on March 3rd while having peanut butter on wheat bread and my OG green tea — very tita behavior, I know. It's 12:51pm on a Monday, and I'm only having my breakfast. Currently listening to CAS's "Sweet" to set the vibe — because if you're gonna be unproductive, at least do it with a soundtrack.

I have been a slacker these past few weeks, and I swore that I would make up for the lack of updates. But you know what? Life happens, kids. I'm not even gonna sugarcoat it. I feel like a man explaining to his woman why he didn't text back for three days — minus the red flags, of course. Lolol.

But here's how my February went

The first week was spent in La Union with my friends, Yoyo, Sadae, Muy, and Xander. I haven't seen these peeps since my dad's funeral (because apparently, the only time we reunite is during dramatic life events — very Filipino teleserye energy). When I asked them for a quick catch-up over coffee or dinner, they hit me back with, "What if... road trip?" And who am I to say no to that? Thank you, guys, for being amazing! On the third week, my coworkers and I had a very overdue gathering. We've been planning on doing this for such a long time. Finally, the stars aligned, and we first had lunch at Tim Ho Wan — which, plot twist, was my first time. It was sooo good! Give me those pork buns and dumplings any day!

We switched to this cafe called Secret Recipe. The overall look of this place screams girly pop! I love it so much! Every corner is so aesthetic af. The ladies and I exchanged some chismis while sipping on our beverages. I got their Rose Margarita btw and look how majestic this looked!

Working remotely may keep us sort of distant from each other, but it's nice to know that I have found a genuine connection with these people.

I stayed over at my friend's apartment for a week, too, and we would always go out on walks in BGC since she lives near the area where I was hitting my PR! It feels so nice inside, I'm not gonna lie. Walking helps me think straight!
