March 2025 Blog Diary

Hi, kids, it's your mom here!

You might not come to this world any sooner, or worse, not in this lifetime, but Mom is trying to get you out of this world. So, if years from now you stumble upon this blog entry,. Let this be a reminder that love takes time, and nothing is ever late or delayed for something worthy.

And to you readers who are probably laughing, reading the first part, I know it's just impossible, and I would even consider myself lucky if I ever wound up with anyone, but being hopeful won't kill anybody, so shut the fuck up and give me your friends' friend's number!! lol

Sadly, writing this now in May. But life has been super great. I was on multiple trips and fun runs that I almost thought of being inactive here entirely! But I've got time on this rainy Saturday afternoon, and we're straying a little too far from the topic, which is our March blog diary.

On the first week of March  I got hooked on curating my spotify playlist! So if yall wanna follow me -

here's my link lol (shameless plug)

I was still consistent with choosing a healthy lifestyle by working out. It makes me feel so good inside every time. As light as a feather, lol

My friend Sadae invited me out for what I assumed would be a regular lunch. We went to Fat Fook, and as soon as we sat down, she surprised me with some big news — she and her boyfriend Chino (who’s also a friend of mine) had moved in together! She said she wanted me to see their new love-filled apartment. I was shooketh. And the best part? I’m going to be their very first guest in their new home. T^T

I can be pretty sentimental, so things like this mean a lot to me. Out of everyone they could’ve chosen, they picked me. I’ll be bragging about this forever!! Thank you, Muy and Sadae!!! šŸ’–

Breaking news!!! After all the walking I did last month, I have officially surrendered… to running. THAT’S RIGHT—Grasya has entered her running era, baby!!!

To celebrate this shocking character development, I went full-on ✨main character mode✨: bought myself an Apple Watch (because data = motivation), grabbed some new running shoes, and—wait for it—I SIGNED UP FOR A FREAKING FUN RUN. My first ever!! And guess what? IT'S THIS MONTH. WHO EVEN AM I???

Before you call me a fitness influencer, let me clarify: I signed up for the 3k category. I’m not crazy, just mildly dramatic. I’m still a baby jogger, but hey—every Olympic dream starts somewhere.

More on this in a separate blog post, of course.

On the 3rd week of March, my sister and I paid our late brother a visit because it was his 5th death anniversary. I can't believe it's been 5 years since that one horrible night. Ate sure misses our little baby, but knowing that he's safe in the arms of our loving parents makes me feel at ease. Life here on earth didn't make it easy for him, and he could've done more with his life, but I guess it's one of the questions that will remain unanswered.

My sister and I had lunch at Lartizan right after. We talked about life and whatnot. If there's something I'm still gonna be thankful for - it's for the life of my sister. She's all I have, and I'm lucky to have someone very supportive in everything I do, but also the logical one in terms of complicated decisions. She can be quite a critic when needed, and she doesn't sugarcoat shit. And I need that in my life.

On the 23rd was Fun Run Day! I woke up at 2 am, and I thought Yoyo and I were going to be late for the gun start. Alam mo naman Filipino time, we left the house 4am, and the gun start was at 4:45!!!

But we made it! And it was one of the most exciting things I have ever done in my life! Everyone there was just super nice and friendly! Our paces weren't even that fast, but I'm glad to be a part of this fun run. Loved every bit of it. Full blog coming soon!

Last week of March, my besti, Gail invited me to her and Stevie's new home - yes I know. I always get invited to stuff like this hahaha! I stayed there for 4 days! It's magical seeing your friends enter a new chapter in their lives and you witnessing all of it. I cannot wait to see little kids running around the house a few years from now!!

She also taught me how to bake cookies!!!!!

some more snippets from my camera roll!

- post workout selfie

To our Netflix department

I don’t really watch K-dramas these days, but I caved for When Life Gives You Tangerines—because, hello, IU!! And let me tell you, not a single episode went by without me crying. I literally had to pause just to collect myself. It’s that kind of show!

I also watched a crime documentary called Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story. It’s about two brothers who murdered both of their parents in their own home. Creepy, right?
It’s one of those true crime stories that mess with your head. One moment you’re horrified, the next you're oddly sympathetic, then back to being disturbed.

2.) Ojos Tristes - Selena Gomez (this song feels so sexy idk why)
