October 2025 Blog Diary

Hey kids, Sorry mom has been slacking off! Life just got so busy, not to mention my laptop broke, so I couldn't really blog or even work. That's why I was forced to get a new one.

Anyway,

October has been a productive month for your mom.

Let me bbbbreak it down for ya

The first one was a quick Landers run with my friend, Mark. He's also the first one to rsvp for my birthday lol

On the second week, my friends and I had another catch-up session. I cooked buffalo wings for the first time, and they were surprisingly good! #wifeymaterial

look at Zippo lurking!!

more Zippo content coz kids, what if your dad is a pet lover? duhhh jk I love this doggo sm even though he kinda looks like a dih with his haircut (tell me im wrong)

The very next day, I went out to meet my bestie, Gail. Mom was booked and busy!
We had lunch at La Creperie, it was also my first time going to Newport Mall, so fancy. I miss my smol VistaMall Taguig lol

I ordered salad to make up for the 3 bottles of soju last night. Coz ya know ... balance

On the 4th wk, I remembered I had signed up for a fun run. I don't wanna go lol
It's my last run for 2025, I'm retiring. I just looked happy but my feet were killing me.

I asked my friend Jobs to go with me to a Halloween event at Matchpoint Sports Bar. The party was on Sunday night, and I asked her on Friday, she was down right away. We didn’t really have much time to prep outfits, so we just grabbed whatever we could get our hands on and called it a day.

I was also coming from a fun run that same Sunday morning lol. After the run, I went straight home, knocked out, then woke up at night to get ready for the party. My feet were definitely killing me, but this tita was still in party mode.

What really sold me, honestly, was the free shots and beers. I don’t usually drink beer, I actually avoid it but I figured I’d try one anyway. And yup… still meh. This tita needed her margarita, so I ordered one instead.

The night flew by so fast. Everyone was super nice and friendly. We played foosball, billiards, and darts, and watched a game together. Part of me was lowkey craving an all-out, loud, crazy-costume kind of Halloween party, but this one wasn’t bad at all. I enjoyed how chill it was and honestly, I enjoyed the people the most. I guess that’s the trentahin in me talking

I'm already planning my costume for next year!

Some more pics from the camera roll

-  date with my sister at the Bake House Manila (she loved it!)

- random doodling to shook Picasso to his core with my art

- pasalubong from Sadae from Thailand

- pasalubong from Gail from JP

- pasalubong from Ren from HK

- got my new running shoes too!

I just love it when people buy me things they got abroad. I'm soo touched that y'all remember me. I'm so loved! (see kids? this is why mom is single, she gets so much love from her friends! your dad better outdo all of them lol)

Now let's go to my Netflix department

1.) Monster: Ed Gein - This show was so sick. I can hardly believe it actually happened IRL. I love it when they turn true crime stories into films or series. Some parts might be a bit exaggerated for dramatic effect, but it still gives you that chilling reminder that these were real events, real people, and a very real kind of madness. Definitely not an easy watch, but it’s one of those shows that sticks with you long after.

2.) The Office - I finally finished this series after 2 months. It was really a good show! Imma need my own Jim though coz AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH a guy who yearns is such a turn on!

Leaving you with my fave joke from the show!

Another thing, I officially signed up for HBO Max and it was the best thing ever coz they got

The Big Bang Theory!!! They removed it on Netflix, but now I can rewatch the whole thing again!!!

Top Songs for this Month

1.) The Fate of Ophelia - Taylor Swift (my fave off her new album and tbh I need my own Travis to save my heart from the fate of Ophelia too!!)

2.) Opalite - Taylor Swift (this was the first song off the album I played on my ukulele!)

3.) Wishlist - Taylor Swift (so romantic ahhh)

4.) So Easy (To Fall in Love) - Olivia Dean (a good reminder that you aren't hard to love, you're just asking the wrong people)

5.) Man I Need - Olivia Dean (izz giving salcedo girly with some flowers on her bag crossing the street)

Taylor just dropped her new album and of course, as a Swiftie, I had to listen. Sabrina and Laufey too. My playlists are all over the place right now. One minute I wanna cry to a Laufey song, then Sabrina comes on and suddenly she’s reminding me of the hoe in me 😭😂 emotional whiplash, but honestly… no complaints.

hmm did I miss anything?

I think we're good.

Bye guys!

See ya on my next blog!

I'm soo behind ughhhh

xoxo
