Come With Me To Bohol (Week 2)

Hi kids! We are back for week 2!

Lowkey crying coz it's July now and I'm soo behind with my blogs lol

Slow morning in the province. I asked Mina to come join me outside in their yard while I finish up with work. I don't get to do this in Taguig. First of all, I don't have a yard.

Secondly, no fresh air and no views such as this one. JUST RIGHT OUTSIDE THEIR HOUSE!!

They also adopted a puppy, and she named her Chichu (a cute way of saying Jisoo coz Mina's a huge BP fan, lol). We bathed her for the first time!

On normal days, I do the cooking after my shift ends. Exhibit A:

Summertime in the province is pretty much the same as in the city, hot but with just much fresher air, ofc! We didn't go out that much, just did some errands like going to the market and picking up stuff at the grocery store. It was such a new experience for me, especially when people hear you speak Tagalog. Mina told me Guindulman is such a small town that people know everyone, and me being a temporary addition was a bit of talk amongst the neighborhood. AND I KID YOU NOT, I FELT THAT!! People here are just built different!!

Since we felt like 5 days aren't enough in Panglao, we decided to go back for the weekend hehe

We booked our hotel at the Regents Park, which happens to own Chada!!! The restaurant we ate at last time we were here. The room was much smaller, but it was okay since we're only staying for the weekend anyway.

Last week's matcha hunt was disappointing, so I asked TikTok for some recos and Slotide Coffee Club was one of the first results, so that's where we went.

And finallyyy some good matcha!! They also offer other unique drinks that are definitely worth trying. I just really opted to have a good glass of matcha latte coz yo girl have been deprived!!!

We went back to the hotel to chill and get our money's worth lol

At night, we prepped and glammed ourselves coz the titas are going to a bar. We've been passing by this bar everytime we walked our way to the beach. I got 2 margaritas while Mina ordered a juice. We ended up at the bar counter and made friends with the korean couple who were sitting beside us. It was a fun night but didn't wait for the DJ at 12mn coz the titas needed to go home. Specifically, me coz I got a bit tipsy (w/ just 2 glasses of drink wthelly)

To make up for all the alcohol consumed, I decided to go for a run the next morning.

Mina and I went to Jollibee for breakfast, and we just sat there eating, being so grateful while enjoying our Chicken Joy! A bit of a humbling moment. Like we were just so happy to be there, to be experiencing things, to be eating good. A core memory!!!!

In the afternoon, we headed to Chada again to eat. I swear, this trip is just us eating our way in Panglao but this resto I can vouch!! Ordered the same mozzarella sticks coz it's THAT GOOD!

Since our hotel is located near some cafes, we tried some of them, like this one called Mocobay.

they also got this cutie!!! we stayed longer coz we just wanted to pet this bb!

Surprisingly, their matcha latte slaps!!!!

To cap our night, we had another drink at Urban Spice.

I've been dealing with a bad sleep routine, so that night wasn't an exception. I just kept on tossing and turning in my bed, and before I knew it, it was already morning, so I just got up. Left the hotel and went to the beach to watch the sunrise.

Another humbling moment. I swear! Every time I go to a new place or experience new things, these things always happen.
